Up first is (ta da) New tennies. They are not turquoise, they are more a light teal. Can't wait to see what is next.
Guess we girls are going to have to get into this shoe contest and start showing ours.
Jeremy is going over how to put together the August project "Lotus Blossom"
Here he is explaining about the mirror image.
The blocks he is using here are made by
Brenda......my Corvette sewer. She is fast....
Here is a photo of some of the ladies hard at work.
more photos of the ladies getting some instructions.
SHOW AND TELL
First up is Kristen's quilt. Kristen selected a navy background for her quilt and it turned out just beautiful.
Here is Paula's with a light background.
Notice that both Kristen and Paula's are using the same outside border.
What a difference dark and light make on this quilt.
Here is Victoria's quilt.
Totally different lay out and border. She went with the 1/2 blocks in the middle and the full blocks on the outside. I like it. It pays to be a bit different.
With this quilt you can choose so many different colors of strips you can have any colors of braids that you want. Love the blue and green borders.
Here is Brenda's quilt. Brenda went wit a minty green background for her bright strips then her borders are green and purple. Hum.....wonder why purple? Love how it turned out. Of course it is quilted, bound and the works.
Here is Cheryl's quilt. King size of course. Her's is set off by the inner black border and the black binding. She also went with King size. Her's is also quilted and bound. Just over acheivers. LOL!
Jeannie was on vacation so did not get her's completed but I wanted to show you one finished block. Notice the background matrial. All those colorful flower petals. This quilt will be beautiful when finished. Can't wait so get busy Jeannie.
Denise shared her Heart quilt with us. She chose this black background for this quilt. It is another KING size. Now onto the borders.
I will be posting our next quilt in a different post. Have to go find the disc of photos.
Thanks for dropping by. Happy Quilting, Paula
