This is a table runner made from scrap quilt pieces. The strip club (we use 2-1/2" strip pieces ) I belong to sometimes has larger pieces of leftovers from cutting their quilts. I used several of these leftover pieces to make this quilt. The strips were sewn together with three strips to a sew then the quilt pieces were cut. You see the diagonal seams? That is where I sewed the pieces together, then just alternated sewing the sets of three together. I added borders then quilted. Super fast table runner.

Here is a close up of the quilting I did on this table runner. I was practicing my quilting. I made some feathers, some circles, clam shells and a few other try them out stitches that I don't know the names of.
It was fun and I was happy with the results.
Thanks for stopping by. Happy Quilting, Paula
this is beautiful in real life Paula. You're feathers and fill stitches are excellent. I may need you to quilt for me now. :)
